Seasonal Blocks

This was something me and my 2 SIL's and MIL made while the boys sat and watched sports on TV all day- Seasonal Blocks!

All you need in 1 4x4 cut into 4 inch blocks. Paint them and apply vinyl letters and thats it! It is a decoration you can keep on display all year long! Just rotate the blocks as the seasons change!

Our ward copied this idea for a Super Saturday and did another variation- instead of painting them, they used scrapbook paper and mod podge. I like the paint version better because it doesn't take as long to dry and you also have to be careful with how busy the paper you choose is because the vinyl letters may not stand out as well on a pattern as it does on a solid paint color. But that is just my opinion! If you don't have access to any vinyl letters, free hand it or print out the letters on your computer and mod podge it!

I love my blocks!
