'Tis the season for baby showers, apparently! I have been to a shower just about every other weekend since September, no joke. But I am not complaining- I love showers and as long as I am not the pregnant one, I say "bring on the babies!" Here are my most recent gift ideas- one for a boy and one for a girl.
Boy
I bought 2 onesies and 2 matching pair of pants, rolled them up and stuck them in a plastic basket from the dollar store. (I am all about "wrapping" in something useful, if you can't tell!) I stuck a bottle of baby wash over it (blue, of course) and tied it up with a blue gingham ribbon.
I made this sign, which has chocolate and blue ribbon around the edges that match the nursery, but you can't tell in this picture- sorry!
Put it all together and that's it!
Girl
First I made a matching ribbon board and covered wipee case.
Then I got small stacks of diapers (about 5 diapers per stack) and I made some adjustable headbands.
I wrapped a headband around each diaper stack and adorned with a bow like so:
Then I just put all items into a $3 basket from Wal Mart and tied it up with some tulle- easy and cute!

Hopefully this will spark some creativity for the next time you go to a baby shower, which will be next weekend, if you're me!
Cute Ideas! I have some showers coming up soon and I loved the boy idea-- Packing it in something useful!
