(This was MY reason to celebrate- our whole family seen by the dentist and not a single cavity in anybody's teeth- even after Halloween! Its a miracle!)
Here's how to make your own:
(just click on the pictures if you need to enlarge them)
Some of our reasons to celebrate have been:
-Ethan lost his tooth!
- Everyone did their chores!
- We're going to the Hockey Game for FHE!
- It's Friday!
- Uncle Ron is now a missionary!
... just to name a few!
Seriously, my kids try to come up with something new EVERY DAY!
So make your own "Celebration Board" and you'll always find some reason to be happy, no matter how silly the reason is!
That is a great idea! Thanks

Very cool. I'll bet your family would love the liquid chalk board markers. I worked as a barista at starbucks for about a year and that is how we accomplished all the pretty artwork on our chalkboards!
ReplyDeleteThat's a really cute idea!
ReplyDeleteI love this board! I can't wait my family gets a little bigger/older, I'm so making something like this!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea and I think my kids will too!
ReplyDeleteIts on the to-do list.
Thanks so much!
I LOVE this idea! I am posting it on my craft blog if that is okay. I will link back to you. I just don't want to foget that this is something I really do want to make! You are just so creative Stephanie
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog, became a follower and realized we are both in AZ. I'll be back soon.
ReplyDeleteFirst let me say, "Love Your Blog!"
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the hard work you do to help us all become a little more creative.
Question- I have used the chalkboard spray paint and I HATE the way my chalkboard parts turned out. It is very grainy even after I prepped where I was spraying. Does the chalkboard paint "paint" have a smooth finish just like a regular chalkboard?
I like the vinyl lettering added to the chalkboard. It not only makes it unique, but encourages your family to celebrate and be thankful for something, even the small things. Great idea.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a wonderful idea!! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI love chalk boards, but this is one of the BEST ideas I've seen for chalk boards!
