In my post about my kid's summer chores, I made a small mention of the "real" chore charts we use every day. I had a lot of people interested in them, so I thought I would make a separate post about them!

All I did was buy a piece of 8x11 sheet metal @ Home Depot (approx. $2).
I cut it down to fit and 8x10 frame.
Then I used vinyl to label 8 chores my kids do daily.
You could use a sharpie marker and write the chores if you don't have access to a vinyl machine.
Then I got some magnets for each of them that fit in the squares to show which chores they have completed.
We have been using these chore charts for over a year now and my kids still enjoy using their magnets to show me what they have done!
Here are a few more pictures:
I have made a ton of these for friends and customers on etsy. If you would like your own, please visit my etsy shop.
Brilliant! I will definitely be making this for my kiddos.
ReplyDeleteIDK if those are your kids charts or not but I found it funny that they are named Leah and Ethan. Those are my oldest 2 childrens names. How neat is that. I love the chore chart and will be making these this week!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah
I love magnets! This gives me some great ideas.
