Strut Your Stuff- Holiday Cards & Gifts

I once heard a lady say that her kids always have 4 presents under the tree: something they want, something they need, something they wear and something the read. I cannot tell you how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea!

Here are some other ideas I have found from my readers and from searching online:

For neighbors:
Fill a ladel with Hersheys Kisses and attach a note saying "Have Yourself a Merry LADEL KISSmas" (idea from My Honey Do List) *or*  I have see a wisk full of kisses and the note attached says "We WISK you a merry KISSmas"

Treat cups  and Danish Tins from Creative Attempts

Stamped Tile Coasters  from Design to Shine

Cards:

One year when Ethan was almost 2, we sat him in a cute tin wash bucket full of bubbles, put a Santa hat on him and gave him a bubble beard. We took a picture of him for the front of our Christmas cards- it was darling!

  3. Thanks so much for putting my idea on there! I've never been featured on anything before so it's very exciting for me! All of the ideas are fantastic. I just thought I'd add a quick one that my neighborhood is doing...nothing! I know, it sounds awful, but instead, we're donating the money we would have spent to a single mother in our neighborhood who needs some help with Christmas this year. I'm so grateful for my new neighborhood saving me some hassle! :)

  4. I have been using that "saying" for years when purchasing Christmas gifts, especially for my children...has kept me on track and from over buying...they have always been satisfied. Love your cute ideas!

I'm decorating pinecones with my 3 yr old today. Should be fun.
