This is my MIL recipe- its as easy as you can get and super delicious!
All you need for this recipe are 2 things:
1) Boneless, skinless chicken breasts- I cut mine into strips so they cook faster and are more flavorful.
2) This sauce:
I have tried other sauces and they are too salty or too bland. This is the secret to a great tasting teriyaki chicken!
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Place chicken in a baking dish, side by side in a single layer. Pour sauce on top so that the chicken is covered by the sauce. Cover pan with foil and bake for 30-45 minutes or until no longer pink. I serve this with mashed potatoes, a green salad and maybe some corn. I also like to have a small cup or bowl of the teriyaki sauce from the pan right next to my plate to dip my chicken in as I eat it because I like to drown my food- it has to be super moist or I won't eat it!!!
Enjoy!
Sounds delicious. I'll have to try this one. I just found your blog and I love it. Great ideas and yummy sounding recipes.
ReplyDeleteThis is exactly how our family makes it too! It also works really well on boneless skinless chicken thighs served over rice. Oh, and its good on pineapple (grilled or added to the chicken...yummy.) I think I know what I'm making for dinner!
ReplyDeleteWe love that sauce too! We use it to cook meatballs in the crockpot on New Year's Eve. It is sooo yummy!!
