Please meet Jeremy, Leslie & sweet little Emmy:
I first "met" Leslie a couple years ago through blogging and online chatting. I learned a little about her and her sweet family and the adventure they were on while adopting their little girl, Emmy.
Jeremy and Leslie have been married 5 1/2 years and Emmy joined them 2 1/2 years ago. This cute family loves to have fun and they have lots of adventures together. A year and a half ago, they decided to try and increase their family and adopt again. Every day Emmy asks Leslie and Jeremy where her sister is and if she's a big sister yet! She is very excited to be a big sister soon.
Adoption is a lengthy process and could take a very long time! Many adoptions lately happen because friends and family help spread the word about adoptive couples. While you may not think you know a birth mom or could never have the courage to refer an adoptive couple to a birth mom, you just never know when it might happen. I am posting this today in the hopes that we can all help this great little family expand simply by getting the word out that they want to adopt! If you are willing to put their info on your blogs, send emails to friends and family, it's often surprising what can happen. You also never know if someone reading the info is a grandmother, mother, aunt, or good friend to someone who is thinking about adoption. All we ask is that you help us spread the word!

ReplyDeleteI just watched the video...and wiped tears. My sister has adopted so I know the joy that comes from waiting for your child to come in a non-traditional way. It is obvious that Emma has brought pure joy to them and she's obviously living a blessed life herself. Super sweet!!!
