Sign for Trick or Treaters

This project was linked to Thursday's link party and it just caught my eye. I promise it will be the last Halloween project I feature for this year (I already have my list for next year!) But I wanted to slip this in because:
1. It is adorable.
2. It is handy. (I always have stray knockers that wake my sleeping kids long after the candy is gone!)
3. Everyone still has time to reproduce it!  (Free download if you go to her site!) Click, print and done!
Why didn't I think of that?! Instead every year I have to hope that people understand that my dark porch means we are done passing out candy... and yet not everyone always understands that!

  1. can't believe I never thought of that. We end up having to turn off all the lights on the inside of the house and "hide" upstairs so that they stop ringing the doorbell {so as not to wake my sleeping pumpkins}. Isn't it the simple things that change our lives the most :)

  2. Neat Idea. We live in an area where no one even trick or treats. I've had the lights on and every year we have candy, and one Year I even had a big sign outside about having candy here, and still, no trick or treaters.

(put an empty candy bowl on the front porch with a sign that says, take as much as you want)
