6 Arizona bloggers have joined forces to put on a "Virtual Christmas Cookie Exchange"! We're sharing a favorite recipe and hosting a link party for everyone to join. You can add your recipe to the link list on this site, and it will be seen on all 6 blogs! How fun! And if you are anywhere in Arizona, you won't want to miss it when we all get together next month for a "Real Life Cookie Exchange". More details to come on that as we finalize everything- but plan on it to be a blast! Everyone is invited to both events, so I hope you'll join in which ever way you can- virtual or real life!
Here is my cookie idea for the day:
I found THIS recipe from Martha Stewart. I am not a fan of pumpkin pie, but I love a good pumpkin cookie, and since I am not a fantastic baker, the fact that Martha includes these on her list of "Our Easiest Cookie Recipes" made me not so intimidated to try it! I followed the recipe exactly and I must say they turned out super yummy! It really was an easy cookie to make and again, I am not a baker! If I could do it, so can you! See how good they look:
...and they taste even better. (I've had probably 10- no joke.)
Since this recipe made so many cookies, I decided eventhough I probably could eat them all, it would be best for my waistline to give some away as gifts. So after they set in the refrigerator for 20 minutes and the chocolate hardened, I put them in cute little jars and added some ribbon. This was a cuter alternative to the normal plate wrapped in celophane, right?
This idea could really be for anyone- teachers, coaches, neighbors, visiting teaching gifts etc. I already gave one away to my favorite person in the world! (Thanks for the chat, by the way if you are reading this!)
Here is a recipe card if you'd like it. Click to enlarge, save it, then print it. You're welcome! :)
So what are you baking this holiday season? Join our Christmas Cookie Party by adding your link below. This party will start on Friday, Dec 10 at 4am MST and end Friday December 17, at 11:59 pm MST

I noticed after I added my cookie recipe...that it is the same as the first post!! :) Guess lots of people like those this year!
