This is the simple craft that kept the ladies in the family busy (and SANE) on Thanksgiving. It helped mask the noise of the football games that occupied our husbands time and minds all.day.long. (Seriously, why so many games on holidays?!)
A craft like this doesn't get any easier. Hit up your local craft stores and buy your letters. The ones we bought were $2.
You will also need scrapbook paper, Mod Podge and a sponge brush, a hot glue gun plus any other fun embellishments you want to add. I used some red distress ink, ribbon and some felt Christmas stickers and holiday misc.
Note: Ours letters came in white, which was perfect for me, but you may want to paint yours before doing anything else if you're not happy with the original color.
Directions:
1.Trace your letters onto your scrapbook paper, then cut them out. If you want to distress them, do this now too.
2. Mod Podge your paper to your letters and let it dry.
3. Embellish!
I think the Y is my favorite, but I love the dangling ornament from the O too!

Super idea~ I am making a set like this for my 21 year old daughter who is a fashion merchandizing major at college. I did SEW. I love the paper I picked but I am stumped on embellishments....
