I recently hired a web designer who is hard at work to make this site even more fantastic! I've chosen the template I want and couldn't be more thrilled and excited to see it all come together, but one thing is standing in the way between me and my finished website: I can't decide what to do with my logo! I love the logo I have right now, but the colors look bad on all the laptops I have ever seen it on- (sorry laptop users!) I am hoping to get some help from my blogging friends (you!) but I need to hurry 'cause the clock is ticking!
Last year when I was getting ready to launch Crazy Domestic, I issued a logo challenge and it was a huge success and totally fun! So I thought about doing it again and this time for Somewhat Simple- ready? Who's in?!?
- I am looking for a logo that fits the feel of this site- something simple, not crazy.
- Anyone can submit a design, you do not have to have any design experience at all!
- The basic colors of my site will be shown below so you can match your design, however feel free to add another color if you think it fits- I just might LOVE it!
- Feel free to create and submit as many designs as you would like!
- Please email all submission to steph@somewhatsimple.com
- All submissions need to be in a jpeg, jpg, gif, or png format
- Please submit only your original work
- I need all submissions by Sunday, March 20th (I said I was in a rush and I wasn't kidding! lol)
- Once I've had a chance to look at the submissions, I will pick my favorites and let my readers vote!
SO WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU????
- If you make it into my list of favorites, your design will spotlight on my site with the other finalist along with a link to your site so my readers can see the person behind the design. This will be some great exposure!
- The winning designer will be featured in a writeup that will publish on somewhat simple once my new site is revealed AND they will get 3 months of free advertising on my sidebar.
*the winning designer must agree to sign a release of artwork contract once their design is chosen

ReplyDeleteI was just telling Kelli that I love how your header was changed for every holiday and maybe we could do that. She looked at me like, "Really? One more thing to do each month!" Ha ha! Understandable why you want something simple ;) Can't wait to see the designs... I may just submit one for fun!
