French Dip

This is another easy, no fuss meal that can be thrown together in seconds! I am always trying to remember good ideas for sandwiches that are filling enough to be a dinner, especially during the summer time when I do not want to turn on my oven!!!

Ingredients:
. Bread of any kind- we used hoagie rolls, but you could use a french baguette or loaf and just slice it up for the whole family. That would be really easy!
. Dijon Mustard
. Thinly sliced Roast Beef- heated in the microwave.
. AuJus

Directions:
. Spread mustard on the bread then top with beef. I then put each individual sandwich in the microwave for 30 seconds or so to make the bread soft and heat everything up.

. Serve with AuJus if you'd like (I don't like!) - but if you're like me and have kids that love dip of all kinds, Au Jus got them busy dippin' and eatin' and they ate their whole sandwiches because it was fun! (Though I suppose they would've done the same thing had I given them ketchup!) Whatever!

Enjoy!

  2. So funny.... when you run your mouse over the hi-lighted word "love" it comes up with the ad Russian Brides for sale. Gave me a good laugh. Love this idea thanks for all your hard work. Where do you get your dipping sauce?

  3. Russian brides- that is so funny! And i got some sauce right next to all the gravy mixes- you can buy a packet or buy it already made in a bottle. I didnt like the one I got that was already made though- too salty!
