Pigs in a Blanket

This is a great lunch, dinner, or party appetizer!

I was shocked to hear that my husband had never had nor heard of this before! My mom used to make these ALL THE TIME!

Ingredients:
1. Hot Dogs
2. Refrigerated Biscuits- We use croissants because they taste better, but use whatever you have on hand!
3. *Cheese (This was never an ingredient my mom used, but Kraft foods suggested it, so why not give it a try! Kraft uses Kraft singles- yuck. I used shredded cheddar.)

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. Cut hot dogs into 3rds
2. Cut biscuits in half (cut croissant triangles in half too)
3. Place hot dog on biscuit and wrap sides up around the dog, pinching in the center to secure. If using croissants, place hot dog at thick end of triangle and wrap it up, rolling until you get to the small point of the triangle.
* Kraft foods says add the cheese before you roll it up. My 6 year old hates hot dogs, so I made several that were just cheese in a biscuit and they were delicious!!!
4. Put wrapped hot dogs on baking sheet and cook for 10-12 minutes- until biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.

* Serve with ketchup and mustard for dipping and maybe some chips and salsa!

Thats it! Enjoy!
