I have a lot of creative friends out there who are moms of boys, so hair bows and tu tu's are only so fun to make for so long. How many crafts can you giveaway to your neighbors and your neices, right?
(Enter darling onesie/shirt idea from Trey & Lucy)
I stumbled upon this blog a while ago and had a few of her other projects on my to-do list. I was actually going to challenge my readers to something else this week (girly again) when I decided to think of my readers who might have undecorated little men running around them. .
Anyway, Tanya shows a step by step tutorial for these darling little shirts and she even gives a pattern for free!
My llittle guy doesn't wear onsies anymore (can you say "Fat guy in a little coat!?") but I want to make him some cuter T-Shirts, so I am going to copy this idea:

ReplyDeleteYou are right, there are so many more fun things for girls. I have four boys, and I sure wish I would have seen these cute ideas when they were tiny!
Cute! I totally want to try this one!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I did start to make the blankets this past week but my machine broke and I couldn't finish them! I'm going to try and get them done and mailed off, I think that is such a great thing to do for preemies.
I am so with you! I have three darling boys and do sometimes feel left out with all the ruffles & frills on the tute-scene :). Luckily, I have a niece to sew for. And I have done a few projects for my boys--more are lined up (in my mind at least). I love these tie onesies.
