Telephone Charades
Hands down the the best party game I have ever played!!! I found the idea online, and it sounded fun, but I had no idea it would be as fun as it was.
How to Play:
Four people are chosen for the round and three of the four are taken out of the room. The one that remains is told something to mime in approximately 20 seconds. Before they start, a second person is brought into the room and told to watch. When the first demonstration has been completed, the second person takes their place and the third person is brought into the room. The second (who has just seen the demonstration) is told that they have to act out what they have just seen for the third person. After it's done, the fourth person enters and the scene is acted out again by the third person. The round ends when the third person has done the mime, and the fourth person is asked what they have just seen.

Here are some fun scenarios to act out:
Bathing an elephant (This was the funniest at our party)
Changing the diapers of twins
Jumping off a high dive into a pool of Jell-O
A cat cleaning itself
Hanging out with Spiderman
A nerd's first date

The Liars Club
We chose a panel of 5 people who were taken into a room beforehand and given a look at 5 of the most random items you could find around your house. It could be parts of or pieces of something or that random tool in the garage only your husband knows how to use. My BIL is an avid hunter, and the rest of us are not, so one item I remember using was some kind of hunting whistle that looked like a clothes pin or something. Anyway- get creative and be random!

The panel is told the real use of each object, but only 1 person on the panel will give that purpose to the audience- the other 4 members will have to bluff and come up with their own idea on how it can be used. Give them some time to decide what they will say about each object, and assign who will be giving the right answers for each object as well.
When the panel is ready, have them come out and sit in a line in front of everyone. The host will show the audience the first object and then the panel will go in order down the line giving their idea of how it is used. The audience can be split up to 2 teams or play as individuals or couples and they have to guess which panel member was giving the actual purpose of the object.
Keep track of points and award the winning team or player with a candy bar or something!
I found your blog through your guest post at "The Polka Dot Chair", and now I'm a follower! :-) These are some great ideas. Thanks!
